DMK ALKALINE WASH

The DMK paramedical system offers an unusual and exclusive treatment “alkaline wash” that makes the pH of the skin to the opposite end of the pH scale. As opposed to acids, alkaline swells, softens and dissolves whereas an acid, at the opposite end of the pH scale, hardens skin cells and pops them off. Alkaline wash creates an alkaline condition when applied to the skin at a pH of 12. This action completely softens or desquamates the cells. Alkaline Wash can turn the pH of the skin from 5.6 to about 12 in less than 3 minutes.
